Finances Officer, 2023-24
Estefania completed her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Linguistics from the University of Texas at El Paso, in her hometown. She decided to transition directly to a graduate program after her summer internship at BCM. As a first-year student she is exploring her research interests in the realm of Space Health. She is passionate about discovering how to sustain life in outer space and finding ways to counteract risks like radiation and microgravity. Her upbringing in the border city of El Paso Texas, inspired her to promote STEM careers in Hispanic communities through the NEO program. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, and dancing. She loves learning about cultures and trying new cuisines which is why she travels often!
